Mental health disorders are relatively prevalent. They often begin in young adulthood, follow a chronic course, reduce quality of life and contribute significantly to healthcare resource consumption. Due to their significance and scale, mental disorders in Croatia, as well as globally, represent one of the priority public health challenges (Brkić Miloš, 2025).
