5. Presenting Data Using Tables
When presenting data, avoid using tables solely for formatting purposes.
If data must be displayed in a tabular format, use the dedicated table function instead of formatting with spaces or tabs. This enables assistive technology to recognise the format.
When a table is used to display data, include column headers (available in the "Table Tools" section) to identify the information needed to read the cells.
