Introduction

This topic addresses the types of digital risks and cyber threats targeting personal data and digital identity, with an emphasis on understanding the causes, attack methods, and consequences that such incidents can have for individuals and institutions. Special focus is placed on strategies for prevention and risk management, as well as on the importance of education in digital security in everyday use of technology.

As part of this topic, participants will be tasked with studying relevant literature and analysing specific examples of digital identity misuse in order to develop, through personal insight and critical thinking, the skills needed to recognise threats and responsibly manage personal data.
