Environmental Education & PBL is a training course for participating teachers to provide environmental awareness, environmental management, and sustainable development education with Project-Based Learning.

This training program can be considered as the first step of raising awareness and taking action on the development of environmental literacy in students, environmental education in schools, and integration of project-based learning and environmental education to focus on sustainable environmental issues.

There will be 7 modules in 7 weeks (7 online lessons):

Module 1 – Why is environmental education important? What is Project Based Learning?
Module 2 – Components of good Project Based Learning
Module 3 – “Environmental Education” integrated with Project Based Learning
Module 4 – Identifying real problems and working on sample lesson plans integrating PBL
Module 5 – How to foster students’ motivation, participation and creativity through PBL
Module 6 – The importance of student driven activities in PBL
Module 7 – Exploring the appropriate assessment strategies in PBL and EE
