Instructions for the Assignment:
Compare two selected design models (learning design and instructional design).
ADDIE (Analysis–Design–Development–Implementation–Evaluation) is the best-known model in instructional design, describing five phases in the systematic development of educational materials and programs.
Balanced Design Planning is an example of a learning design model (for which both the concept and the tool are available in open access).
In this activity, take an analytical approach to comparing the elements of each model, considering their advantages and challenges in higher-education contexts.
Prepare a short written report or presentation that presents your analysis of the selected design models.
Submit the report in the following activity, Peer Assessment (Workshop).
