Practicing in the learning design tool

After watching the video lesson, practise setting up units and teaching and learning activities in the learning design tool (BDP: learning-design.eu) and pay attention to the questions you need to answer when designing units and activities. The BDP tool has built-in questions and explanations, and, for some responses, offers a drop-down menu.

Possible alternatives to using the BDP tool for learning design are the ABC tool and word-processing and spreadsheet tools for creating a learning design based on the general principles of learning design. If you have chosen to use other tools, create or describe the activities in them, indicating the learning type, the mode of delivery, the estimated time students need to complete the activity, whether the activity is collaborative or includes formative assessment, and who provides feedback to the student. Most importantly, link each activity to one of the learning outcomes from the set you envisaged for that teaching unit.
