You will practise setting up assessment activities in the BDP, the learning design tool, and examine which questions need to be addressed when designing assessments.

If you have decided to create a learning design using the ABC model, keep in mind that there is currently no open online tool that allows the direct entry and detailed development of assessment activities. In the ABC approach, planning is carried out at a conceptual level through learning types, so assessment needs to be additionally described in a separate document.

For assessment activities, answer the questions from the material Designing Assessment, for example:

  • Is the assessment summative or formative?

  • Which learning outcomes is it linked to?

  • Who provides the feedback?

  • What is the impact on the final grade?

  • Is it carried out individually or in a team?

You can record the answers to these questions in a text document or a table.
