Activity description
In this activity, you will participate in a synchronous online debate on the topic: "Can an artificial intelligence (AI) tool and system replace a teacher in the evaluation process?"
Select a group by clicking the Group Selection resource:

Group "FOR" – supports the claim that artificial intelligence tools and systems can replace a teacher in the evaluation process.

Group "AGAINST" – opposes the claim that artificial intelligence tools and systems can replace a teacher in the evaluation process.
Each participant is expected to present their opinion in a well-argued manner and actively participate in the debate.
Instructions for participation
- The debate will be held in the BBB online videoconferencing system and/or via the external Kialo Edu tool, a structured debate platform (if it is technically possible to use it). If not, the debate will take place in a videoconference room.

Each participant is required to present at least one argument for their group's position.

Each participant is required to actively follow the arguments of the opposing group and, if necessary, address them in the discussion.

After the debate, the instructor will write a short report and post it in the forum for all participants to see.
Participant responsibilities
- At least one argument within the selected group must be presented “for” or “against”.
- Active participation in the discussion must be ensured within the allotted time.

Notes:
- Students who do not provide an argument or participate in the debate will not receive points.
- The instructor may award partial points based on the quality of participation and arguments.
