This e-course will explore well-being in the information society, with an emphasis on the benefits and challenges of using digital technology for all stakeholders in the educational process. We will analyse current trends and the future of digital technologies in education and their impact on the well-being of students, teachers, and management staff. Special attention will be paid to identifying the risks of using digital technology and its impact on well-being, as well as developing guidelines and responsibilities for the responsible use of digital materials.

E-course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this e-course, participants will be able to:

  • understand and critically analyse the benefits and challenges of applying digital technologies in education, with a special focus on their impact on the well-being of students, teachers, and management staff;
  • identify and assess potential risks associated with digital technologies in the educational environment and propose ways to overcome them;
  • design and apply strategies to promote the responsible, safe, and ethical use of digital technologies and materials within an educational institution;
  • develop guidelines and strategies that ensure the physical and psychological well-being of all employees and students in the digitised educational process;
  • create and adapt teaching content using digital technologies to encourage individual student progress and ensure their well-being.

  • develop strategies and guidelines for the responsible use of digital technologies in the educational environment to ensure safe, stimulating, and ethical digital experiences;

  • Introduction to the impact of digital technologies on well-being: 5 h 10 min

  • Risk analysis of digital technologies in education and their impact on well-being: 11 h 55 min

  • Development of guidelines for the responsible use of digital technologies: 20 h 20 min

  • Development of guidelines for ensuring the well-being of employees and students of higher education institutions: 22 h

  • Implementation and evaluation of developed guidelines: 13 h 50 min

  • Course completion: 50 min.
