In this activity, you will carry out peer assessment of the implementation of the learning design in the LMS (Moodle) based on a rubric that includes the following criteria:
- alignment between the course in Moodle and the design created in the BDP tool or another learning design tool
- resources in Moodle are relevant to the planned activities in the BDP tool or another tool used for learning design
- the selected teaching and learning activities in Moodle are developed in accordance with the design and are clearly constructively aligned with the learning outcomes
- assessment in Moodle reflects the assessment design defined in the tool used
- the Moodle course is equipped with appropriate resources that foster student motivation and engagement
The instructor will provide concluding feedback on the quality of the peer assessment, highlighting and acknowledging what has been well identified as well as what may have been overlooked. This feedback will not necessarily be detailed or comprehensive, but will be provided through selected examples chosen by the instructor.
Note for participants
It is not expected that all resources in Moodle will be fully populated with content, as this is not a required outcome of this e-course. Assessment is addressed in e-course 2 (Assessment using digital technology), while digital instructional content is covered in e-course 3 (Developing digital instructional content) of this programme.
