Description

In this activity, you will design a digital educational resource that can be used and shared for teaching and learning purposes, demonstrating the application of principles of quality design, clear communication, and open sharing of educational materials.

With this assignment, you will connect the knowledge gained in previous activities and create a pedagogically meaningful and visually adapted resource that is applicable not only in your own course but also for users outside your immediate teaching context. It is important that, along with creating the resource, you define the conditions under which your content can be used, shared, or adapted by applying an appropriate Creative Commons licence.

Instructions

  • Create a digital educational resource or improve a material you have already created, clearly defining its educational purpose and target audience (e.g., first-year informatics students).

  • Select an appropriate Creative Commons licence to define the conditions under which your content may be used, shared, and/or modified.

  • Complete the attached template, which includes:

    • the title of the resource and a brief description of its content;

    • the target audience and context of use;

    • where you plan to publish the material (e.g., repository, LMS, personal website);

    • a clearly indicated Creative Commons licence with specified usage conditions.

  • Submit the link or file containing your created resource along with the completed template through this activity.

Assignment submission

Use the provided template to complete the task. Submit your work as a Word document or PDF file through this activity.

Include the link to the created content (if it is published online) in the Word/PDF document, or attach the file directly within the LMS.
