Activity Description:
Organisational aspects of implementing AI tools in education
This is a group activity. In the previous activity, you analysed the selected AI tool or system from technical and pedagogical perspectives. In this activity, you will expand this analysis to include the organisational aspects of implementing AI tools in an educational context.
Main Question:
What are the most important organisational (institutional) challenges – such as technical equipment, training, ethics, security, and legal issues – in the process of integrating your selected AI tool into teaching?
Explain what steps institutions should take to successfully address these challenges.
Procedure:
-
Group Formation
-
Each group may have a maximum of 3 to 4 members.
-
Enrollment in a group is done through Group Selection.
-
-
Topic Proposal
-
In the Forum for submitting topics and video submissions, post the first message with the following content:
- Message title: Group X – topic name
-
Message body: A short description of the topic (2–3 sentences) explaining what your group will research and analyse.
Wait for the instructor's approval before starting to create the video.
-
-
Video Creation (3–5 minutes)
-
Use the Animoto tool – free version.
-
The video should clearly show:
-
group name and topic
-
names of all group members
-
key organisational challenges of implementing AI in education
-
suggested solutions to these challenges
-
list of literature used (mention sources in the final frame of the video).
Recommendation for searching for sources and articles: Use SciSpace, ResearchRabbit, or another AI tool of your choice.
-
-
4. Video Publication
In the second post in the Forum for submitting topics and video submissions, post a link to your video.
5. Submission of Solutions
- File name: GroupX: NamizTeme.pdf
- The file must contain an image (screenshot) of the opening frame of the video, clearly showing the group name, topic name, and the names of all group members.
- After the image, copy the content of the presentation in multimedia form.
- Each group member uploads the same document to the ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION as their solution to this activity.
- Note: All group members will receive the same number of points and the same grade for the joint work.
