2. Dimensions of Open Education
The framework and guidelines were developed with the aim of raising awareness and motivation among teachers, researchers, and institutional leaders, encouraging them to harness the potential of digital technologies and open education in higher education. The framework aims to:
- enable and increase access to education
- encourage innovation in teaching
- improve access to lifelong learning
- transfer new (digital) skills and competencies key to employability and social inclusion
