E-learning terminology

E-learning technologies include various tools and ICT capabilities: from the use of PowerPoint presentations during classes, creating multimedia presentations on CD, DVD and USB media, through the use of websites for the dissemination of educational materials, to interactive systems for checking and self-testing knowledge and complex online learning management systems (LMS) and systems for building and supporting virtual environments for learning and teaching.
