E-learning terminology

Open Educational Resources (OER) are publicly available learning, teaching and research materials for which the author or copyright holder has made further use possible under an open license, such as the Creative Commons license. The open license defines how further use and redistribution is possible, whether adaptation of the material is permitted, etc.
