In this activity, explore various digital tools and software solutions that enable data analysis in educational environments, following the instructions provided in the materials (Digital Tools for Data Analysis). The aim is to become familiar with the functionalities of available tools and to exchange insights within the group in order to expand collective knowledge.
The focus of the exploration includes:
-
tools integrated into LMS systems (e.g., Moodle Analytics)
-
specialized platforms for data visualization and analysis (e.g., Power BI, Google Data Studio)
-
open-source tools (e.g., R, Tableau Public, Orange)
-
criteria for selecting a tool: accessibility, type of data, level of technical complexity, and support for pedagogical interpretation
Task:
- explore several tools, select one, create a test/quiz in it, invite fellow participants to complete it, present the analysis of the collected data, and propose improvements to the test/quiz based on the data analysis (you may use the automated test created in the previous topic)
-
research one or more tools and prepare a short description (100–150 words) that includes:
-
the name and type of the tool
-
key functionalities relevant to the educational context
-
advantages and limitations in applying and analysing data
-
-
upload the document (using the provided template) to the database
