E-learning terminology

Online teaching is a model in which learning and teaching takes place with the help of information and communication technology, allowing students to access teaching materials, participate in discussions, and complete assignments in a virtual environment instead of in a physical classroom.

Open Educational Resources (OER) are publicly available learning, teaching and research materials for which the author or copyright holder has made further use possible under an open license, such as the Creative Commons license. The open license defines how further use and redistribution is possible, whether adaptation of the material is permitted, etc.
